Insulation board SILCA 250KM 3cm (large format)

The thermo-insulating, calcium-silicate plates SILCA were especially designed to insulate fireplace covers. They are absolutely safe. They have great insulating properties, protect the fireplace perfectly and can be used as a construction material for the fireplace cover at the same time. The plates are not cut from one block but pressed individually. Due to this production method they are monolithic and dust-free. They can be worked on easily with tools used to work on wood.

Currently in the fireplace industry, there is a strong trend to use thinner insulation materials without having to trade-off the insulating parameters. The calcium-silicate SILCA plates of 1000x625x30mm dimensions meet these expectations perfectly.
