Repair kit THERMO KIT (flat rope 3x10 mm)

Repair kit THERMO KIT (flat rope 3x10 mm). The set contains a flat rope with and adhesive tape for a „do it yourself” replacement of the glass gasket.

Remove the used gasket from the door frame or the fireplace body. Clean the surface thoroughly. Start placing the rope from the corner. Put the rope in a straight line and do not extend it during the process. At the joint point, the rope end  should adhere closely to each other. In case of ropes wider than 12mm We recommend cutting the rope at the bend point. After fitting of the rope, fix the glass, put a small part of the gasket under the holdfasts  and screw them moderately. Leave the rope for 4-5 hours until the glue dries out. A regular replacement of the rope gasket every 2 years is recommended due to safety reasons and lower fuel consumption.
